A dominant colour that is perfect for trans-seasonal design, grey tones work well with the aforementioned trends well, just be sure to complete the room with warm-toned light bulbs as grey walls paired with fluorescent bulbs can create a somewhat sterile, corporate feel.  Another great way to combat this is to add candles to your space.
